On Day 1, we kick off our journey from Mumbai with a scenic road trip, making a stop for a delightful breakfast along the way. Upon arrival at Bhandardara, we check into our cozy MTDC Lake-Side Cottages, offering breathtaking views of Arthur Lake. After settling in, we explore the tranquil lake and take in the stunning landscapes before heading to the mesmerizing Umbrella Waterfalls, where nature puts on its best show during the monsoons. As the day winds down, we return to the resort for a relaxing evening with tea and snacks, followed by a night of games, music, and Bollywood-style dancing. We end the day resting in our lakeside cottages, drifting off to sleep to the peaceful sounds of nature.
Day 2 begins with a misty morning and a mesmerizing sunrise by the lake. After a delicious breakfast, we set out to explore the breathtaking Sandhan Valley, capturing stunning views and indulging in adventure activities like waterfall rappelling and a short plateau walk to witness the reverse waterfall. As we bid farewell to Bhandardara, we make a lunch stop en route before returning to Mumbai, carrying with us a heart full of memories, laughter, and incredible experiences.
